What equipment will I need?
Your guide will provide compasses and a timing device for you to borrow at the event. We just ask that you leave an item (keys, driving licence, credit card) that we will seal in an envelope until you return.
Will I get muddy?
That depends on the event and the weather. You should dress ready for an outdoor activity, whether walking or running. If you are not sure, ask your guide.
What help will you provide?
Once you’ve got in touch we will get an experienced orienteer to contact you and guide you every step of the way. They can provide as much or as little as you want, but will ensure you get the most out of the event
Will we be Insured?
Yes, you will all be insured for your first 3 events. After that you may want to consider joining a club if you are interested in continuing. Please discuss this with your guide if you are not sure.
Do I have to pay?
All six activities listed are offered free of charge.
