Directions and Parking

Light refreshments and snacks available at the visitor centre. Toilet block adjacent to the visitor centre and car park.

Terrain Description

[Describe the terrain the competitors are expected to encounter, including vegetation type, urban/forest, steepness etc. Example below]

Parkland with some mature woodland, grassland, young trees that are maturing. Courses will be based on the western area previously visited only by long courses. All courses visit areas not previously used. 

Map

1:[map scale] with 5m contours, A3 size updated 2016 by [mapper]. Control descriptions will be printed on the map and loose control descriptions will be available.

Registration & Start Times

Registration from 10:00 to 12noon

Starts           from 10:15 to 12:15pm

Courses close at  2pm

A score course simply means that there is no set order for the controls. Competitors collect point values for each control they visit in any order they like within the time limit.

Entry Details

Seniors         £7.00 (non-British Orienteering members £9.00)

Juniors         £3.00

The event will use SI timing. SI dibber hire £0.50
